Lead Mechanic – MINI JCW
FREELANCE
The successful candidate will have experience in MINI JCW or similar level.
You will be required to lead the build, preparation and operation of our MINI JCW race cars along with working the test days & race weekends.
The job would offer approx. 150 days work throughout the course of the 2026 season, including 7 race weekends on the TOCA package, with a certain level of flexibility on workshop time.
You will be joined by an established Crew and the race cars will be based at our workshops in Northampton.
A very competitive package is available along with opportunities of extra work within the organisation on our BTCC team and other projects.
Start date: January/ February 2026

One of the drivers on our 2025 season Wera Alliance Racing Academy roster was Felix Tandy, son of 24 hour racing legend Nick Tandy.
Felix has been setting the karting scene alight with his performances throughout the season in the Super One MightE Bambino Championship culminating in him winning the championship after 7 final victories. 9 pole positions. 17 heat wins.
What you might not have been aware of is that he has been doing all this in an electric kart.
We spoke to Nick about how the electric revolution makes sense in the karting world and if it is a more expensive way to race and whether or not is has improved the racing.
