Unfortunately Andy Neate will not be competing in today’s Kwikfit Briitish Touring Car Championship races.

Andy tested positive for COVID-19 during the 5 week break and despite since testing negative prior to this weekend has struggled to regain fitness in time for the races today.

He battled through Saturday but it became apparent that Andy would not be fit enough to take any further part in the Oulton Park race meeting.

“I’m gutted for Andy today but it is definitely the right decision. It’s such a shame as Andy was looking forward to this weekend after the break but Andy’s health is far more important than anything right now. Andy will now focus on getting fit in time for our trip to Knockhill in two weeks time.”
