Returning Porsche racer Will Jenkins is going to be stepping up to the Pro class of the championship when he returns for the 2026 season in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, with the Wera Alliance Racing Academy and Team Parker Racing.

After a strong debut season that produced a number of class wins, Will is looking to build on that in the Pro class of the championship, aiming to take his first overall win and is looking to challenge for the title.

While last season was always about learning the car it came with a lot of bad luck that Will hopes is behind him as he looks to take his experience into the new season.

Continuing in the Wera Alliance Racing Academy is a key part of Will’s return and he had this to say about it:

“This season will be my fourth season with the Wera Alliance Academy. Every year I have been extremely privileged and honoured to be selected to be a part of it. Each year I have seen the academy grow from strength to strength as I have moved up through the ranks, and the support we receive both on and off track has been heavily responsible for my success.

“The Wera Tools brand is something I am extremely proud to represent.

“The brand is becoming synonymous with success in motorsport, and I am confident that with the support of both Wera Tools and the Alliance Racing Team, I am well positioned to compete at such a high level.”

Alliance Racing Team Principal Pete Osborne had this to say on Will continuing in the Academy for another season:

“We’re delighted to be continuing our support for Will Jenkins into the 2026 season as he continues in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship. Will continues to impress year after year and now he’s stepping up to the Pro category. He had a fantastic season last year and we’re all eager to see him build on that success.

We’ve been running cars in Wera Tools branding since 2024, which is also the first year we ran Will in Porsche Sprint Challenge, and I’m really pleased with the close working relationship we’ve developed.

“Will showed real promise in his first year of Carrera Cup. He was a consistent points scorer and claimed two wins and several other podium finishes, so I’m looking forward to seeing how he gets on in his second year of racing in the championship.”
