Friday testing: a good day getting back up to speed and working hard with the team on the setup of the car which we got in a really good place heading into Saturday. We had to navigate a lot of traffic too!

Quali – P2 sprint, P2 sprint, P1 endurance

Sprint Race 1 – P2-P12 I was fighting for the win at the start of the race but I will learn from my unlucky mistake when the rain arrived and we were on slicks. I still managed to pick up the fastest lap of the race.

Sprint Race 2 – P2-P2 a race with crazy conditions but with only 3 laps of green flag racing I had to settle for second.

Endurance Race – P1-P2 (deserved P1) I lead for half the race pulling a nice gap to second place but the success penalty from the previous round meant I had 10 seconds longer in the pitstop. Even with that challenge I caught that 10 seconds back up and re challenged for the win but backmarkers got in the way and stopped me from winning. I absolutely smashed the track record by 6 tenths to anyone in the process with a 1:28.580 and although not claiming the win I deserved that win and without the success penalty I would have been clear by a distance.

The set up of the car this weekend was mega. I can’t thank the team enough for all their hard work.
