RACE REPORT Round 4 Circuit Zandvoort
Achievements:
– My first European race
– Unofficial lap record in testing and P1
– Official lap record in qualifying and P1
– My first win
Quali – Pole Position (by over half a second) and a new lap record
Race 1 – P1 and fastest lap
Race 2 – P1 (OTR) and fastest lap
Endurance Race – P3
Race 1 – Epic! Pace, performance and the win that has been coming!
Race 2 – I controlled well and maintained the lead after a safety car. Unfortunately the restart after a second safety car ended in a collision between myself and another driver putting me out of the race. As the race had just restarted and was nearly finished, they rolled the results back a lap meaning I kept P1. However an overly harsh penalty cost me the win.
Race 3 – Success penalty in the pit stop from round 3 bad tire choice and a wrong setup made the car nearly undriveable but we managed it well and brought it home with another podium
The 4 days out in Zandvoort have been brilliant So much fun on and off track. The circuit is amazing and itβs been a great experience
